Which optima

08 5.3. What optima are you using? I want to use a D34 so I can use top and side posts. It seems like it'll fit in place but it's not listed as fitting my truck. It's just a size thing tho correct?

Im pretty sure I run a 34R Red top.

If I had the budget I'd use the Yellow Top like you said. I would like a deep cycle.

I think im going to go with it, and just relocate it to the secondary tray if i cant fit it. Then ill just use the side posts when i go dual.

I had the D34 in my old 2500, never gave me one ounce of trouble.

Just installed the red top yesterday and makes a big difference compared to the stock one.

Ordered my D34 and all my battery terminals. Should be here this week! Also have most of my stereo stuff on the way! Some of it is coming from other people for xmas though. So no install quite yet.
