Hey, guys Will the new and improved chrome front bumper on a 2012 2500hd fit a 2009 2500hd sure would like to replace the plastic chromed corner style bumper found on the '09's with the new one peice type used now one the 2012 ! Any one know if these can be swapped? thanks Dave

I would have to say yes..........There have been guys that changed out the front end of their 1500's with new HD front ends (grille, hood, bumper). I don't see why it would not work from HD to HD wit hthe same body style. You may need to fabricate mounting brackets seeing that GM changed the HD chassis in 2010.

 

 

EDIT : If I were doing this, I would go look at the new HD's up under the bumper and see if they appear similar. A parts schematic from a website that offers OEM parts would also help.

dealers put the "new" grill on the trucks at dealers...thus meaning it should fit...
