DIC Display and gauges not working

I have a 2008 GMC 2500HD Duramax. For the last year or so, the DIC display would fail intermittently. Recently it has gone entirely black, including the shift position and the gauges do not work. I took off the panel holding the DIC button and plugged and unplugged the connector. Worked briefly and then went black again. The gauges are squirrely. Sometimes one seems to work while the others do not. Took out the switch again and unplugged the connector but no change. Checked the fuses and they are all good. The turbo boost and speedometer both work. The fault displays all show up on startup. I've checked for a code and there is no code displayed that my generic reader can see. Any help you can provide will be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

Its the same problem I have on mine. The gauges just let go and you end up having to replace the entire panel. It isn't any connection issue or fuse, its just a common chevy issue on all their trucks. You can try replacing the sensors and may fix it, but the sensors i have found that I needed to replace ended up being 100 bucks per sensor. I would just try a salvaged panel from a junkyard and try that to see if it fixes it.
