yeah, I didn't read the article yet, had to give it the obligatory looksee at all the pictures first.

Anyone else get truck magazines just for the pictures???  I'll read an article now and again if a truck really stands out.

That news was actually released awhile ago.  :D

What's more important, Laurie was blasted in the letters section (well not her personally) as well as in the readers rides section another GM-Trucks.com member (an HD owner with that big black grill/bumper).

I saw that too, I read a bit of the first letter where they were ripping on that chick w/ the decked out f*rd.

Did you look at the reader's rides section???  Geez, most of those trucks were stock w/ the exception of a K&N and some new headlights.  Almost makes me want to submit my truck, it would have to make it.

I was actually getting pissed reading that letter.  Evidently if you're a female, you're only allowed to have an article written if you get in your engine compartment and get grease under your fingernails.  :D

She doesn't know Laurie, did she read that Laurie USES her truck to HAUL which is what it was intended for.  No where does it mention that in order to be written in an article that a requirement is that you must turn a wrench.

And yea, there were quite a few "appearance modified" in that section.  :D

As For Maxim, Stuff, and :ahem (clears throat): the other magazine I get.. I find myself having a hard time reading much...  :D  :D  :D

I think its about time they put that V12 in a car that could go head to head stock with the new SRT-10 Vipers...

My sport truck mag. came in the mail last night and they quoted a guy from GM saying that gm will add a 7.5l v12 with at least 500hp, this is all from memory though, when I get home this afternoon i will post the article.  Right now this motor is in Cadie's concept car MID engine rear wheel drive with a 750hp v12.  Probly get tunned down for production if they build it.  I'm really excited about this because GM has made many concept cars that would beat the corvete and because of that they have never built them.

I don't know about you guys but I'm ready for GM to build a SNAKE killer.

Ok, here it is.

Escalade v-12

General Motor confirmed that it would indeed add a 7.5L V-12 to its powertrain quiver.  Gm said the all aluminum DOHC V-12 engine would produce significantly more than 500hp.  Sure, Ford and Chrysler offer V-10 and V-8 engines with similar output, but not a V-12.  The V-12 is definintly pointed toward the Cadillac brand, with Thomas G. Stephens, group Vice President of GM Powertrain, noting that GM sees a need for an image engine to establish an ultra-luxury niche.  Through the Cien Two-door, 750hp V-12-powered supercar concept has not been approved for production, a rumored Cadillac Super-Sedan concept could bow in detroit in January with the new V-12 engine.  Super sedan be damned; we'd like to see it power an ultra-lux version of the escalade.

Sport Truck probably wouldn't like me quoting them like that but I pay for the mag and I'm sure they want me to renew my subscripsion, I've only got about 2 more months.

I think it was John Moss that put twin turbos on an all-wheel drive Escalade and he had it rated at 500hp, he also said that it was tuned down severely.
