Installed advent ogm-1 in 2008 Silverado LT

This is by far the easiest install I have ever done. Like other posters said I am glad I watched the video Walt put up because the trim panel tools were a great help. The radio works exactly like it should and is well worth the money.

 

Dealing with Walt at ADC Mobile was honestly the best customer service I have ever had. He is a very knowledgeable person and answered every question I could possibly come up with before pulling the trigger on the unit. While I was waiting for the unit to come I shot a email to him with a couple of questions I had while I was looking at the dash and the best way to tackle taking the trim pieces apart. Within minutes I received a call and he told me exactly what to do. I installed the unit and the tips he gave for working on the LT dash came in handy. The only issue I had was when I installed the radio I was trying everything out and I could not get the unit to take a CD. I gave him a call...figuring I would leave a message and get a call back in the morning. Not only did he answer the phone right away and point out what was wrong (damn red screws I didn't take out ) but he walked me through a couple other questions I had and was very patient with me. I cannot say enough nice things about him. I will definitely be recommending him and the advent unit to everyone I know.
