What year and size engine in the Intrepid? The 2.7 or 2.8L (can't remember which?) Is known for having bad oil sludge issues. 3000 mile oil changes is a MUST! That being said, I always did like the last design they had for the Intrepid. Thought it was pretty spiffy.

 

 

2000 ES with 3.2L Thats been a great motor. We've owned 2 of them and haven't had an issue with either one. The other motor's don't seem to fair as well. And she gets regular maintenance too
