transmission slip?

I have a 4l80e in my truck, i recently changed the pan filter and fluid with sythentics, just the pan not all the fluid. When i was at a stop light and it turned green i felt as if the tranmission was slipping. At the next light I stoped and floored it and it did not slip at all and felt fine. is the transmission fine or is it toast, could it be just wiring or something else i was going to do a full flush and try that. anybody got any ideas

i say hic up,full flush WILL NOT do anything except drain the wallet,,

 

you can scan it for giggles but if you were not stopped completely ,it MAY have stayed in second giving you the feel of a slip ,IDK

You checked the fluid after the change HOT, correct? You could be a touch low on fluid. If not, it's just as Govtech4 said.

 

Without knowing the history or mileage of the truck anything else would be a tough guess ....

i have the extra fluid for the flush, just looking for something to use it on. level was good on the truck. i bought the truck new and always maintained it well. the only thing bad that i did to it was put it in reverse while driving and stalled the truck in the road but that was at 40k miles it now has 116k miles.
