Siri and Factory Bluetooth

Does anyone else have a iPhone 4S with Siri and have issues using the factory Bluetooth? The old iPhone 4 worked BEAUTIFULLY with the factory Bluetooth, but the new one doesn't. I say Bluetooth... Voice..., hear the Siri beep and then an immediate "Call Ended". Sometimes the phone cuts back into the radio for a minute with dead air and goes back to radio. I have yet to get it to make a call. I'm wondering if those with newer trucks don't have the issue.

  I had a problem with my top inner tailgate not opening. Made sure that it was unlocked, etc. Had some work done at a body shop and they disassembled the tailgate. They couldn't get the top part down either after replacing the bottom part of the tailgate. The shop took it to a Chevy dealership which took the tailgate apart again. They found that the electrical connector(s) for the upper part of the switch were corroded inside. There are two little drain holes in the latch above the connections which,I suppose, are to let water drain through and out at the bottom of the tailgate. However, these allow water to get to the electrical switch connections and corrode them. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a recall out from GM on the multi-gate latches?

  After a few years tollerating the check engine light I got tired of it and fix it. After a dozen of hp tuner scans with the laptop it came clear that the problem occured ocasionally and not permanent. At one scan I saw the low side fuel pressure drop fast. The high pressure stayed more constant. At all the other scans it didn't occured. So I figured out that the high pressure fuel pump was dropping pressure at the low pressure side. I replaced the high pressure fuel pump today and scaned it. No codes. I hope it is fixed now. It also was giving rich at the short and longtherm fueltrims. As before the replacement it was giving lean values all the time. I keep you posted on the progress.

  When you have one, you have to work with what you have not what you wish you had. 😬 Ring thickness on these beast is 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm. Second ring is a taper faced unit. Top a PVD coated unit. Don't know the alloy. Oil can not be to clean.

  Main reason newer engines need oil changes MORE often than the "olden days".
