would the new spark plugs and plug wires in my 1995 chevy z71 5.7 litre work in my 1984 chevy k5 blazer 5.7 litre?

Yes they will.The only thing thats different is the coil wire.IIRC.

is there a way to just clean plugs

I did when until i could afford new ones.

did they give better perfor,ance than they did before you cleaned them?

If they are coated, say platinum or other, I believe you will damadge the plug. If they were fouled real bad you could clean and use them in a pinch.

Your 84 5.7 used copper plugs. You can buy those for $1 per plug. For $8 I'm not spending any time cleaning
