Drivers Airbag deployment on 2006 Sierra

I hit a tree dead on while out hunting in my 06 1500 and drivers airbag deployed. I have repaired the body, replaced the steering wheel airbag, and module under the drivers seat, but the airbag light is still on. The sensors on the front of the truck were in good shape and we re-used them, and i cant figue out ho to extinguish the light?

Any help would be appreciated.

get it scanned ,and maybe a reprogram for the module

 

$2 scanners wont read it ,use a tech 2

You can't tell if a crash sensor is in "good condition" visually. Get it scanned by someone.

doubting a crash sensor was in good condition if the airbag went off....

Unfortunately not everyone has $800.00 for a tech 2.

 

OP, have the sensors checked, if the airbag deployed, one of them has to be in need of replacement.

i didnt say to buy a god dam scanner !!!

 

its $1200 ,,,,so there ,,,,lol

 

oh and $650 for a candi module adaptor to read 08s and up
