Speaker sizing and wiring for 2009 crew cab

Hello everyone I've resentally purchased the advent ogm1 thanks to adc mobile and walt and now I'm going to upgrade the door speakers. I would like some help with two issues,

1st. What is the stock speaker size in the 2009 silverado crew cab(non Bose)

2nd. What's the best way to run new speaker wire in the door gromets seeing as I'm planning on adding an amplifier to the system therefor I wish to upgrade the stock wire size,

You should be able to fit 6.5s with speaker adapters. To bet through the boots I pulled the door side off and snaked 1/4 inch flexible copper through. Then put a thin wire through that. I pulled the copper out leavin the wire in place. Secured my speaker wire to one end of the wire and pulled it trough. Back doors are a little different and easier really. Remove the frame side of the boot. You have to removed the belt tensioner, there's a wire clip that comes off and boot is much easier to work with. There's a slot on the top of the clip you can get the speaker wire through
