Bought Myself an Early B-Day Present

Pretty cool story actually... My best buddy sold this quad about 8 months ago for money to lift his HD. At the time I didn't have the extra cash and was heartbroken to see it go to another guy, nice guy though. Well for about the past 3 months I have been searching to pick one up and on Friday I found THAT quad for sale.

 

Long story short, guy rode it twice in the eight months he had it. Bike looked as clean as the day I saw it go away so, I snatched it up for less than he paid my buddy. So pumped!!!

 

As mentioned it is a 2005 YFZ 450 with Hotcams, Toomey pipe, DG nerf bars, Houser steering stem and bar clamp, Pro Taper bars, AC bumper, etc. Oh and did I mention this thing probably has less than 20 hours on it. The tires in this pic are the stockers from the factory.

Thanks! This is actually my first Yamaha, had a RM 125, 400ex, and KTM 250sx before this. Hopefully this thing will hold up for awhile. I know my buddy never abused it, the guy who bought it really seemed like a good guy, and I mostly trail ride and hope to go to Silver Lake, MI here sometime.

I've owned that exact quad. It's a blast. I rode it as hard as anyone could and it held up like a champ!!! Congrats and have fun!
