G80 problems

The G80 locks no matter what direction you are going, they don't know what they are talking about. Also GM Customer Service, you don't need a VIN to find out how the G80 works.

Not sure about the all Chevy lean deal. My 2008 & 2010 with Z71 suspension both sat @ 35 5/8" to the top of front fender from the ground & 39 1/2" at the reasr stock. After level & blocks they are at 38 3/4" front & 41 1/8" rear. Full tank of fuel drops the driver side rear only 1/8". Pretty level IMO.

They are asking for the vin and GM Customer Assistance case number to locate the op's information and open case on this concern. They are attempting to help the customer to get the concern resolved not diagnose the issue or offer any technical assistance.

With that said, yes, a G80 will lock in reverse. Yours is broken. Probably sheared the ears off the torque limiting disc.

Well, like I said in one of the links you posted, I tried to add it to the original post in the Fullsize Truck & SUV forum, but it did not come up when I did a search for it.

I posted it there in a general type forum to see if any of the members here had any advise or experience dealing the GM over things like this.

I also posted it here in a specific type forum, the Ask a GM Technician forum to see if anyone who actually WORKS for GM in a capacity that may know what to do could help me as well.

I posted in both forums because people who aren't a GM Tech usually don't check and reply to posts in the Ask a GM Tech forum, whereas they do in the general forum.

Best if you only post once instead of having multiple posts. Easier to follow

Well, maybe a tech will come here to help...since someone moved all the posts into 1....

I guess it's a crap shoot when ya need an answer as to which forum to put it in, cuz if you put it in more than 1, someone will combine them for ya anyway.

You've got your answer. You don't need another Tech on here, you need to find a dealer that will fix the problem
