New Wheels, One Has Damage

All excited opening up my new wheels, and second one I cracked open I see this

send them the picture, install them and swap it out when the new one comes in Although it will be a few extra bucks

Dang it! I'd send it back in a heartbeat. It may not be that noticable once they're on the truck....but YOU will know it's there. And, if you're like me....it would drive you nuts every time you look at it. Sorry bout your luck man.

If i mess something up I can deal with that, but I expect something new to be free of any dents, scratches, etc...

It's going back, although I am tempted by Jdubs idea.

If you are not too anal about your truck, you could see if they would give you a good discount on it. Me personnaly, I would have to send it back. It would drive me cazy.

I'm picky, and it will bug me if I don't get another one. The box has grab handles on each side that are open, looks like the box tipped over or something and caught the wheel right where there isn't any protection.

I got my gunner 6 wheels from discount tire direct and 2 of the 4 wheels had that same damage and 1 of the 2 had a slight bend. I sent them pictures and they send me new ones and sent the others back with no issues or problems.

 

BUT DON'T MOUNT THE DAMAGED ONE UP. They can refuse it because you mounted tires on it.

Thanks man, I was thinking they might try and say I caused the damage if I mounted them up. I have no paitence at all, calling 4 wheel parts as soon as they open.

Makes sense..... I guess I just got lucky. When I ordered my BMF wheels for my 08 one came with damage. I sent a pic before I mounted, they immediately shipped one out to me but I told them I'm mounting it and will ship back once the new one arrives and is installed. They told me they don't blame me

I shipped it back today, and should have another wheel next week. Tried to get them to overnight me one, but he said they couldn't eat the cost of overnight shipping. I disagreed, but lost that argument. I sure wish there was a shop around here that sold truck accessories, I'm getting tired of buying online and crossing my fingers things show up on time and undamaged.
