When doing the rear pads and rotors on my 2500HD, how do you get to the top torx screw on the caliper? I cant get the bit in the screw head because the leaf pack is in the way. I need to remove the caliper and bracket in order to get the rotor off. thanks in advance...

Ya that didnt work, you cant swing it up past the leaf pack the rotor is in the way. Even with the rotor off. I have to remove the bracket with caliper on it, strap the whole setup to the leaf pack to break the bolts free.

One side done, now I broke the torx socket and f'd up the bolt on the other side. Now i have to figure out how to remove the torx screw with a f'd up head.

I think I might have used a pipe wrench on the head on mine.

are you joking? The head is almost flat/round, how could you get it on there?
