Edge Evolution Programmer and E85 Gas

Just wondering if anyone has used an Edge Programmer on the GMT900/07+ trucks or suv? I lately have been using E85 in my tahoe because it is about $1.00 cheaper than 87 octane and am only losing about 1.5 mpg with it so it is cheaper to run. But I was wondering if E85 would be ok to run with it because it is rated at 105 octane. I did email edge and they said it would be no problem but just wanted to see if anyone tried it first hand.

 

 

Also I know a BB tune would be better. I was planning on getting one at the Chicago meet but have other family plans come up that I can't miss so I had to cancel plus I need the cash because I am in the middle of selling my house to build a new house.

IF you can't make one of their meets, why not order an AutoCal through them if you want a tune? I have no personal experience with them but from reading other members posts, they are great people t odeal with and won't let you down.

Well kind of an update of this. Yesterday I went up to level 3 on the programmer which is the towing tune. Ran around yesterday with this and had no issues. I know I emailed Edge on this twice and got the same reply both times that it would be ok but was still up in the air if it was ok. But now that I did program it I noticed it is alittle more responsive and doesn't lag like the stock program does.

I know I can order the autocal or actually buy one from a fellow member but I kind of need to use that money for other things. I am in the middle of selling one house and building another house so I want to use that money for that instead. I know they are great people there. I have emailed Justin a couple of times and he was very friendly and understanding.
