What exactly is going on that you say it's weak? Year make and model will also be helpful.

There needs to be more information , you could just need a tune up. What is the mileage and the condition the truck has been kept in. My brother has a 02 sierra and it has 295k on it and been dogged its whole life. Strong engine still

last tune up was about month an a half ago, its a 2000 ls single cab step side its got 274,814 miles. i know its a lot of miles just doesnt feel like its got power anymore.

its been changed every 3k miles with mobile 1 synthentic, its got exhaust, and a (cai)

That is a lot of miles, but before changing it out, I'd look at a few things first. Run a good compression check on it to see if the cylinders are still in good shape. Check the valve lift (to see if cam is worn). Any codes in the computer? Check the fuel pressure and flow. Make sure cats aren't too worn or plugged up. If all of this is good, not much of a reason to change it. Maybe the problem is in the trans? Is it slipping excessively maybe? Hard to go by "just feels week." Could even be a bad batch of gas. Run some SeaFoam in the tank.
