Reverse Light Question

Last month I bought some LED's for my interior lights from SuperBrightLEDs.com. I have been pleased with the Cool White Interior Bulbs and also the Exterior License Plate Lamps I bought. I am now considering adding some LED's reverse lights, however when I go to look there are a large variety of LED Lamps for the Backup Lamp on an 11 Sierra Denali. What I am curious about is some bulbs show 30 Degree, 130 Degree, or 360 Degree angles of the lighting, what is an appropriate degree of lighting for a backup lamp? I am looking at the following bulbs:

Does anyone have any suggestions, I plan to go with the Cool White Color, I am trying to get the look of the reverse lights the Cadillac Cars have.

If you don't get the 360 degree, the light may not fill up the housing and you not get a lot of useful light. The housing may also not be uniformly lit. The stock bulbs are 360, obviously since they are regular incandescent bulbs. I have these in my license plate lights and am pleased, not too bright but definitely an improvement over stock look.

The CREE 5W 30 degree bulbs (focused) is what I have in mine and they shine out further, however I suspect that if I had a backup camera then it would not see the ground right behind the truck including the hitch very well. The 130 degree bulbs will let the camera see the ground better right behind the truck but not use the reflector built into the housing and the 360 Degree bulbs will use the internal reflector. I suggest the 130 degree LED bulbs if they are the CREE 5W ones and the 360s if they are not the CREE bulbs.

Are you going for the LED "look" or are you wanting more light? I have a set of 50 halogens that originally I bought for my 98 K1500 and transfered them to the 2011. The amount of light output and the fact that I can actually see to back up is great.

Have you considered these:

I have the ones with the LED ring and the CREE LED behind the lens. Work well with a backup camera and throw a lot of light behind the truck.

+1 on these. They are bright. I couldn't see behind the truck at night cause of my tint, and its a long truck. After getting these bulbs, I can now see back far enough to back my boat trailer down ramps without rolling windows down in the dark.

I just ordered a couple of the 68 smd white led reverse lights myself. 3157 is the base. I'll snap a couple pics when they're in
