Delayed Unlock?

Every once in a while, my remote unlock feature will have a weird delay to it. I'll click the unlock button and the lights on the truck will flash, but as I approach the vehicle I can hear the doors unlock. This occurs several seconds after I've pressed the button. Most of the time the doors unlock as soon as I hit the button, but this a weird unpredictable thing. So far it hasn't been an issue, but I'm curious as to why it does this, and if it may be a sign that something isn't working properly or going out. Any ideas?

Mine did this and the dealer replaced the actuator in the door lock.
