Strangely cheaper to add to a GMT 900 than get from factory who would have thought. What a switch!

On the 800 they had to do the DIC and steering wheel controls upper buttons are for the radio and the lower is the DIC. It ran closer to $1000 because of the adapter for my aftermarket radio.

I don't need one. I have my tablet that does more than a scangauge. I use the doc when going out of town just to see how efficient I'm running. It passes the time. I play around with it ans see how much dropping 2 MPH will raise the MPG.

You can get knockoffs that look similar. I was never a fan of the overlays though, never seen one light up evenly or normally but I'm picky about that stuff.

Well there is a difference in an overlay and the factory faceplate. mine replaces the black one

Wow that's a lot of work and $ for DIC install on the 800s. Its only about $70 on the 900s and takes about 5 minutes. Wish they made something like the SS cluster for the 900s though.

The SS cluster does look pretty good. I liked it a lot more than the Escalade cluster. I really dislike when the cluster is in 20 MPH increments. If I install one it has to be in 10 MPH increments. That's why I went with the SS cluster.
