I had to adjust it the day after I put them in

I turned mine down. The first adjustment would blind people who weren't driving a truck. So I had to adjust again. I will occasionally blind someone while towing

Not readjusting your headlights is a douche move. Something a 15year old high school kid would do.

Why? My comment is directed at anyone who does not readjust their headlights. Blinding people on purpose is just being an arsehole.

Oh wait, I forgot it was the cool thing to do to purposely endanger the lives of others...

My old neighbor does it with his ghost trailer towing cummins. I have done it because I had to go out of town and didn't have time. No comment on something I have done

My truck is at stock height and occasionally the glare from headlights behind me gets bothersome. If I'm not planning on passing (and don't have the cab full, hindering my ability to look over my shoulders) I just fold the mirrors in. No big deal, and definitely not worth me trying to retaliate.

The Silverstars (and Silverstar Ultras) are decent bulbs. I switched to the Ultras a few years back after driving home in South Louisiana in a heavy rain. Five-foot deep ditches were flooded and the standard bulbs just didn't illuminate enough for me to see well. I made it home, but had to drive in the middle of the road to be safe for a mile or two.

I use Xtravision bulbs now, after tiring of replacing the Silverstars every 8-12 months. I found them for around $5 each at Lowes (compared to a minimum of $15 per 2-pack at most auto stores) and picked up enough low and high beam bulbs to last for my truck's lifetime and then some. Thought they were on clearance, then saw them restocked a year later for the same price.
