How do the E-rated tires air down at the dunes being on a light (for that tire) truck? What pressure do you run?

Ill get pics eventually I thought I posted some here in the photography thread?

I run 12 in the front 10 in the rear I have bead protector rims so I can go real low, they did excellent in the ddunes and being tough sidewalls didn't balloon out much at all. Much more softer ride compared to my coopers which I ran at 18, 16 for fear of them blowing out.

Check out www.treadwright.com, see what they have available. I haven't done much research but I too am in need of tires all around. A friend recommended I check them out as a cheaper solution.

You have to be careful where you buy from, you could be buying from a place that's inheriting old tires that don't sell after a while at bigger places, check the dates on the tires you get because there was a thing on the news a while back about places selling old tires that have sat a while and failed when finally used daily because they broke down from sitting for a while.

i dont really like my coopers that much kinda want to stay away from them, i hear alot of good things about mickey thompsons are they a relatively decent price?

First of all Mickey thompsons are made by cooper tires. So are dick cepeks. Don't get the Baja claws, stick with MTZ's or atz's. Cooper discoverers are good tires, I had two sets of 33x12.5R18's they were awesome tires. I owned a set of MTZ's as well they were good too, wore quick and kinda felt washy on pavement. But overall an awesome tire in the bush. Dick cepek FC 2's are excellent tires for a very good price. Also the DC mud country are good too. Nitto's and Toyos are okay tires but waaaay over priced IMO...I don't know why you say you don't like cooper. I'm now on my 4th set of tires that are essentially made by cooper and I have yet to encounter 1 issue. Not one flat, low tire, sidewall separating...nothing. Excellent quality.

I now have just a hair under 70k kms on the dick cepeks. Still over %50 tread. Very aggressive for an all-terrain. Good in snow and mud. Yet pretty damn good on the road, slight hum. Barely anything. I love them. Best bang for you buck far as I'm concerned.

Never mind I didnt read the whole thing. Bf all terrains??? Let me know how tha works out.

Haha idk I'm not a fan of street tires on trucks just doesn't look right to me and they were bald on the truck when I bought it so I never really got to feel them new so I guess I can't judge em, but so far I love my bfgs

All of the tires I mentioned above are far more aggressive than a BFG all terrain. Sounds like you had a set of slicks. I've never owned anything but a mud tire or aggressive all terrain...

Congrats on the deal! You'll love the BFG's....that's the exact size and brand I'm running...and I'm very happy with them.
