Im in need of tires the ones that came with it were bad when i got it and they're on their last leg right now. My size is 265/70/17 id like a wider stance and i was told 285 will work on my rims, rims are in the future but i cant afford both at the same time. What tires do you guys recommend? im looking for aggressive all terrain tires that will give it a mean look for a reasonable price, im looking to spend around 800 for a set 900 max.

You should be able to go to a 285 width. I personally like the Mickey Thompsons. Baha Atz or Mtzs. Had a set of Baha Claws on my last truck that rode and wore great.

I've been really enjoying my Mastercraft's (Cooper off brand). I got them for $650 out the door & included an alignment. Got 30k miles on them & still good amount of tread left.

i dont really like my coopers that much kinda want to stay away from them, i hear alot of good things about mickey thompsons are they a relatively decent price?

Nitto Terra Grapplers are a decent looking tire and would probably let you stay in your price range.

285/70/17's will fit on your stock rims...and look much better than your stockers. However, you're going to be very limited if you're wanting a set of all terrain 285's mounted and balanced for less than $900. Firestone Destination AT's might work.

I've had Mastercraft Courser CT's and they are awesome tires, for that size everywhere I check was $1054 out the door.

I just bought my first set of Nitto Terra Grapplers and they are pretty nice so far, would've stuck with the Mastercraft I mentioned above but they aren't available in the size I wanted.

On discount tire's website the Nitto Terra Grappler in a 285/70-17 are $209 each. That would be under $900 out the door for a set

285s will fit fine. I've got

Bighorns with 22,000 miles and probably ~30% tread left pretty good in mud to

Even without the certs, those are over $900 and Direct doesn't include mount/balance. But at DT, all you have to do is haggle a little bit.

i ended up getting extremely lucky and finding a set of 285/70/17 BF Goodrich all terrain ka to tires for 550 they only have 5000 miles on them and in excellent shape so i have those on now they are load range E tripple ply sidewall and say something about baja on the side. ive already taken them in the dunes and they did awesome im very satisfied. the guy that sold them to me said he spent 1100 on them new

Sweet. You should really enjoy them. I'd ask that you let us know how they work out. I'm curious about road noise personally.

not very loud at all but they are louder than my old coopers you hear a very low hum but its hard for me to hear it since i have loud exhaust they feel way better and of course i sit up higher which is awesome, so far i love em
