Wolfmanjohn Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 These factory 17" x 7.5" wheels (P46) with Goodyear P265/70R17 Wrangler AT/S tires (QJP) are off my 2011 Silverado. They have 2035 miles on them, have never been dismounted, and include lug nuts, covers, and TPMS sensors. $750, and would like a sale near Chico, CA so as to avoid shipping hassles and costs. [email protected] Edit: I just realized that, "have never been dismounted" can be misleading; I should have written, "tires have never been demounted from wheels". They've been off the truck for a couple of months.
11Silvy Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 If I lived near you I would scoop these up in a hearbeat. I need some track wheels. What are you planning to put on?
Wolfmanjohn Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 They're already on...'08 LTZ 20" x 8.5s with Michelin P275/55R20 LTX MS2s. What a difference for the type of driving I do!
Wolfmanjohn Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 Thanks! It was between them and the 20" Tahoe style wheel; very glad I didn't do that now, especially since someone else in the neighborhood put those on his CC, and they just look way out of place and mismatched for the truck.
11Silvy Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Those were called Texas Edition rims for the longest time here. They really look good on lighter colored trucks. Did you feel any performace loss going to the bigger wheel/tire?
Wolfmanjohn Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 None whatsoever, and my gas mileage remained about the same, too. That's why I wanted to stick with a factory wheel (weight/offset), and the Michelin tires weigh in at ~39 lbs, similar to the Goodyears, if I remember correctly.
11Silvy Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Yeah. My goodyears on the chrome clad 20s that came with my truck weighed around 78#. I'm thinking about getting a 4.11 gear next.
Daryl LBZ Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 You might be able to get more for those. I just sold mine last week without the TPMS for $750 and they had about 7,000 miles on them.

Thanks for the tip; I appreciate it. I wasn't quite sure about my pricing, what with the local sale (we'll say within ~500 miles) thing.

Wolfmanjohn Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Time for a bump on these puppies; my ears are open.
Wolfmanjohn Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 As winter time is approaching, it's time for yet another bump on these tires/wheels! Surely someone can use these in crappy daily driving conditions while saving their uplevel wheel/tire combos. I'm open to shipping/delivery options if a local sale cannot be had. [email protected]
