Power Windows Problem

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Crew Cab. Recently, both the passenger power windows stopped working at the same time. Front and rear. The two driver side power windows work just fine. I thought it may be the driver's side window switch module so I replaced that but that did not solve the problem. Has anybody had this problem before or have any idea of what it may be?

Thanks,

Mike

Check fuses? Check the wiring in that side of the truck?

Just a couple of thoughts.

I've checked fuses. I'll search for a wiring diagram online. Electrical is not my cup of tea but I'll try it anyway. The dealer wanted $90 just for them to look at it for an hour. I can live without a window if I can't fix it myself.

Did you find out the cause & solution for this power window problem?

We have a Silverado with an intermittent window problem, trying t get an idea of where to start.

Thanks

The chances of having 2 motors go out are going to be very rare. It sounds like more of an electrical issue. However if you have an issue with passenger and rear it could also be the master window switch as it can effect the other windows. 30 day return policy and free fast shipping http://www.switchdoctor.net/
