I have a 2011 2500 with the 6L90 tranny. It callls for Dex VI. Can I use BP Autran Syn 295 in the tranny and transfer case? I've heard from a few guys you can with no problems. The truck will be used to plow snow.

No, Its not a Dexron VI fluid, its Dexron III. You can use Dexron VI spec fluid to replace Dexron III but not the other way around. Dexron III was used in 2005 and older vehicles.

Here is the best Synthetic Fuel Efficient Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATL). Its whats in my Cadi and soon going in my new Denali. In my CTS4 my average mpg went up from 23.9 to 24.2 after 1,000 miles of use.

In addition, BP Autran Syn 295 meets or exceeds the performance requirements set forth by OEMs and listed or approved under the following specifications:

• Allison TES-295 (AN-031002) • ZF Transmissions

• Allison C-4 (33014203) • Voith Transmission

• DEXRON®-III (G-34746)
