To level it or leave it alone

When I leveled mine a few years ago I left the front end lower by about a half inch just for the purpose of when I tow it won't go nose up on me. Even with 600lbs+ in the bed my truck still doesn't squat beyond level. Now if I realllly load it up of course it would drop more but level or not would of done that any way.

I'm another advocate for leveling. I don't mind a little rake but from the factory my truck had at least two inches and it looked terrible for a 4x4 to sit like that. So I got the keys and removed that plastic piece (deflector) under the plastic part of my front bumper. I just regret not doing it sooner after buying the truck.

how does leveling affect towing? It seems that if leveled a heavy load will have the truck pointing up towards the sky verses semi level if stock, Let me know i like the look but worried about performance

 

 

Thats why I got the AALs on mine. I can load it up pretty good and still be sitting level as opposed to nose up.

 

I also like the look of a rake, but couldnt stand how stuffed the factory tires looked with the factory height. New keys and the AALs helped alot. Looked like a 4wd is supposed to.

i agree, i cant stand how stuffed the tires look on the stock GMT800's.

 

when i have my truck loaded to the max, it looks like a baja truck but it dosent affect the way it drives
