99 LeSabre Door Lock Problem

The other morning I drove dad's old 99 LeSabre(my daily driver now) to work. When I came back out to unlock the car, I hit the remote and the doors did not unlock. I checked the remote again and the lights came on as usual, but again the car did not unlock. I used the key to open the driver's door, then pressed the power lock button on the door panel. It would not unlock the doors. When I start the car, I hear some sort of soft beep from the dash area. When I press the lock/unlock button on the door, I hear a click as if it's getting power. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Thanks.
