squeaky rear brakes on 2011 Silverado

My 2011 Silverado has 14,000 miles and the rear brakes squeak at low speed as I brake to a stop. It only seems to make the noise from 5mph to a stop. Is this common with the rear drum brakes?

Sounds like normal operation to me. You could take the rear drums off and remove the brake dust and that is usually all it takes on mine.

Yeah its normal. Mine do it after rain or sometimes just when it's cooled off drastically but it goes away after a few stops.

I had this problem on my 2010 and i took it to a brake shop and they said that the parking brake was sticking a little. Fixing that and cleaning the brake dust did the trick
