Blue Ray Metallic/Graphite Blue

Has anyone seen the concord metallic color? Was walking around a dealer this afternoon looking for a Blue Ray they had last week & stumbled across it. The truck was dirty from the grass field & snow they had it parked in, but looked pretty cool *I think*. Need to see one that is clean out in the sun though.

We have two or three at work. It looks black when its dirty in or out of the sun at times but...if you get the right angle on it and its cleaned up, its almost like Welch's concord grape jelly. Very metallic too the sun brings out the color nice. Its like steel green metallic and inferno orange metallic, its apperance changes in the light.

This is the best photo I can find of the concord metallic color. Took a couple yesterday, but just looked black due to how dirty the truck was & the light available. If you do not catch it in the light, you will walk past it thinking it is black.

That is a good looking blue. I had to zoom in to tell it was blue.

That color is called "Graphite Blue Metallic" on the GMC Sierra's.

Yes, the photo in post #1 is Graphite Blue.

Chevrolet version is Blue Ray Metallic.

The photo in post #17 is Concord Metallic.

More carbon type color in the first two & think purple haze for the C.M.

Photo below is Blue Ray...

Kind of nice to see some changes on their way out.

Hmm. Must be my Irish side, does not look blue at all to me. Although the sticker looks blue and the rims are reflecting blue.

Poor color calibration on my monitor? Poor color calibration on my head?

Just found this thread and have to bring it up again.

This color is awesome. Basically one of the reasons I bought my truck for.

I don't get comments every month though. But 3 by owners of other car brands.

First was a RAM truck driver asking me if this is a custom paint job. He seemed surprised when I told him it's factory.

Second guy was a Ford Escape driver sitting beside me at a light. He honks at me so I would open my window and he ask me actually if my truck was a new model (referring to the "Thunder Edition" sticker. And then he gave me lots of kudos for the paint.

Third was a lady driving a Mercedes Convertible stating: "nice truck".

Here is another pic:

Was searching for pics of 7-13 GM trucks with the different blues available and came across this thread. I have the Heritage Blue Metallic on my 2013 GMC Sierra. This color looks awesome in the sun but even after 2+ years of ownership, it still scares me sometimes when that purple shade comes out in low light or overcast skies. But then it will change and I'm good again......
