Just a shot in the dark.... Disconnect battery for a couple minutes, reconnect, try again.

Is the battery ok? Is it cold where you are? I'm on my phone and can't see your location.

yea if my truck is starting in michigans 20 degree weather with a 7 year old battery your new truck should start fine in lousiana with a new one, take it back

Well I can't attest to my factory battery anymore (failed finally this year) but when new I was able to start in -20F with no battery warmer (used to live in Alaska). Unless something has put a drain on that battery you deserve a new battery for that new truck.
