Pinkerton Chevrolet, Salem, Va. They left a wheel loose after doing a state inspection on my 07 Classic. Next morning, driving down the interstate, all of a sudden it felt like the rear suspension came loose from the frame, then a loud crash/screeching, then the rim passed me....

They denied, profusely. Then they performed work without my concent...I wouldn't let these folks put a bike chain on, avoid!!

dealers live and breathe by the CSI-Customer Service Index,,,,its is judged by the surveys you guys get for a sale visit or a service visit ...everyone is judged ,advisors, techs etc etc

when the CSI hits rock bottom ,the manufacturer will step in and tell the dealer to get a grip ....

it all gets sorted out in the wash lol

I my experience this only pertains to warranty work that gets submitted for payment. All other work will not trigger a survey from my experience. In Dec I had the dealer install and road-force balance 4 tires from me, no survey. Had them change the gear lubes in the axles, no survey.

Thanks Tricia, that's the level of support I would expect. Sadly, GM customer service did not feel the same way when it happened.....I've moved on, but have told everybody I can about the experience. Bet, my experience has been heard by hundreds who were thinking about going there! I will continue to spread the word!

Saskatoon Motor Products in Saskatoon, SK. Canada!! By far the worse dealership. On my 2008 Chevy the tow hall control was shot so they had to replace the shifter. Got the truck back and the rubber sleeve that connects it to the steering column was ripped. They forced me to pay a whole 15$ because the mechanic said it was ripped before he even started to work on the truck (not sure why I would even be trying to get it off when i came into the dealership thinking it was something on my tranny that was wrong) Went to them this past summer to trade my truck in and buy a 2012. They treated me like garbage and more or less gave me the impression I either had to buy from them or drive somewhere else in the city to do bussiness. The salesman then went on to try telling me you have to get warranty work done from where you buy the truck. LOL I feel bad for all the poor suckers who fall for that one. I drove 1 hour out of the city to a small town dealer and bought a truck and saved myself a lot of hassle and almost 10 grand.

Good to know, yeah the scum bag dealers make thier money off tricking people that just don't know.

The crap dealer I posted about (Preston Chevrolet in Langley B.C.) got a sale off my mom, she bought a buick FULL price. I was so mad when I found out, I told her how bad the dealer was. She just didn't know. I am choked they got my moms money. I know they will never get mine that's for sure, I tell everyone I know about them.

Keep posting guys we need to expose the bad apples so they maybe see this and change their ways!

Bennett Chevrolet in New Milford Connecticut wouldn't tell me how much I would get for my trade until I told him what my payoff was.....Bruce Bennett came out, shook my hand, and told me "This is the way we work....what is your payoff"......I told him, "That's not the way I work....you and two others looked at the truck....what number did you put on it ?"....he said, "Whats your payoff ?"....I told him, got up and got in my truck...they said to my Wife "Where's he going ?"....she said "You just blew it...I gotta go, he's leaving"......they called me two hours later wanting me to come back.....I told them "I just signed papers on a new truck with Danbury Chevrolet".....Bennett is now out of business, and Danbury Chevrolet was bought out and reopened by even a better owner....now Ingersol Auto Group :driving:.....although, I do gotta say, they did catch me sleeping on the 2013 Silverado I just leased, and only came $750 off of MSRP....my mistake for not paying attention, I did mention this to the salesman today, and told him "It's my fault"....the sales manager just left a message......he wants to see if we could work something out....I'm not gonna bother, I deserve the beating I got.
