Anyone running these sizes

Im looking at a leveling kit with either a 315-65-18 or a 325-65-18. There is a tire that starts with f and I cant remember the name.

 

Going on a 2011 EXT CAB 4 x 4

 

 

Or should I do a 6" with 35's?

Actually, they do fit w slight rubbing at full lock. There are 2 guys that are running that setup. This is where I got the idea from. One guy is running them on stock wheels, the other guy has after market wheels. I saw it with my own eyes, as did my wife or I would have believed it either. They may be skinnier, but they are 34's...

I rubbed 325/65/18 Bfg's with over 6" lift at full lock, wheels were +18 offset.

OK, the tires I was talking about are the dunlop fierce... Both guys I was talking about are running Nittos though... I am pretty sure that the 325-65-18 was not the size..... It is to wide I am sure at almost 13".

 

I guess the question I am wanting to know is

 

1. Go with a level kit and run 34's and have slight rubbing (cheapest route)

2. Go with 6" and run 35's

 

I just have a hard time convincing myself to spend 1k more just to run an inch taller tire. Will it make that much of a difference? That 1k can go into exhaust intake and tune..

It will be more than slight and the wheel wells will look stuffed. Stick with something smaller or lift your truck.

True there are people running that size on stockers but there's quite a bit of cutting and trimming involved

OK, I found out what tire he is running with the leveling kit....No cutting he is running the Terra Grappler 295-70-18 on the stock wheels. Only rubs at full lock he said...

OK, If I go lift kit, Zone or Rough Country....I know RC had issues in the past, but it has been awhile since I looked at this stuff. They are also 200 cheaper than zone for more lift according to their numbers.

Have you considered running the 295/70/17 with a level and a Zone 1.5" body lift? I ran the RC 2" level and the Zone BL on my last truck with 285/65/18 trail grapplers and had plenty of room to spare.

 

Here is a pic to show you how un-noticable the BL is. Not sure if you are a BL guy or not but I've ran two on two different trucks up to this point and have had no issues.

I am running the copper discoverer 275-60r20. I am getting around 18mpgs on the highway.. before with stock I was getting about 20..
