Corsa Sport mufflers @ Jegs

I had my new exhaust choices down to Corsa or GMPP (Borla) and came across Jegs having the Corsa 14637 Sport muffler in stock. On sale to boot. #255-14637. $435 reduced to $318. Ordered one last night and it arrived this afternoon. I also went with the GMMP Borla 19165261 tip to complete the combo.

For all the naysayers you can just buy Corsa mufflers by themself.

I'll post up vids soon..post-54122-0-78888800-1356065809_thumb.jpgpost-54122-0-31941200-1356065827_thumb.jpgpost-54122-0-16626000-1356065846_thumb.jpgpost-54122-0-97716500-1356065865_thumb.jpg

WOW!!!!!!!!! Thats WAYYYYYYYYYYYY to much money for a muffler. The GMPP one would run you $90.00. My entire MBRP cat-back costs less than that muffler. Hope it works wonders for that much money.

Corsa mufflers are well worth the premium they command. I've had an exhaust on every vehicle I've owned and ridden in plenty more and nothing beats the Corsa Sport mufflers- quiet and drone-free when cruising and an absolute beast when you get on it.

400 bucks for a muffler is just crazy. I am a corsa fan, but I bought my TBSS system used for 400 bucks, there is no way I would drop 400 for a muffler or 900 for a catback system.

I called Corsa about the catback system for the 6.2 trucks. I asked them very specifically about the hp/torque gains and if they had a dyno sheet. They didnt have a dyno sheet, nor could he say there were any actual gains. So all the money that you would be spending would be strictly for sound.

I know that Corsa sounds awesome, but I still cannot justify the absurd prices for no gains in actual power. I would rather take the 900 bucks and put that towards a set of longtubes, at least those would give me real world performance as well as a new sound.

Wow, the two magnaflows I plan to purchase are only about 70 a piece, but I will also be using 14in single in single outs.

I've heard Corsa systems (I think the mid 00's GMPP system was Corsa) and they have a nice distinctive sound and are well made.... I wouldn't pay for it because I'm in salt country so no matter what muffler you have here you've got to be expecting to replace it every 3-5 years or so (I just put a flowmaster on my 2010 with the factory muffler and it already had a soft spot starting to rust through) but I sure can understand the appeal of the corsa! post a video when you get it on!
