Well I Finally connected on a big mulie buck after holding out for 7 years trying to find a big buck. I found this guy one day and got a pic through the spotting scope of him. I took a crack at him and missed, just too far and with the crunchy snow and open landscape made a stalk almost impossible. I managed to find him 4 days later and about 5km from where i first seen him, this time i made my shot count. He only went 10 feet before piling up. He has 7" bases. The pics dont do justice. He should gross into the 190s" Ill have him officaly score next week after the 60 days drying time.

This pic is through the spotting scope he was 600+ yards away with blowing snow. He was with 15 does.

That is so cool man nice pictures, the thrill of the hunt is an experience that actually needs personal experience. It's cool how you stalked him days later hahaha.

Ide say the pics favor him nicely. I can see howmuch mass he has just compared to your hand. Very nice buck.

Thanks, I had to put on a ton of miles walking and spotting to find him. I spent 17 days out hunting this year, not including countless days setting up and checking trail camera's. Its not easy when the zone I hunt is a 4 hour drive away. I passed on several 165-170class bucks, I said I wouldn't shoot anything less then a 180"

It ended up being a 235 yard shot, when i got him. I shoot a 308. The shot i missed would have been pushing 400 yards with no rest and after hiking through knee deep snow. i really shouldnt have even tried the shot but after that many days in the field looking for one his size i couldnt pass on it. Im just happy i got lucky and it was a clean miss.

Great buck and congrats on sticking with it until you exceeded your goal. I'm with z71...I would have taken something long before you, especially with the 4 hour drive to contend with if you leave empty handed. I probably hunted less than 8 full days this year and stopped when I had filled 3 tags as that is all we can use in a year in my house...none were anything like what you got.
