I have a Epson workforce 645 all in one and love it. As for ink, if you plan it right you can get OEM ink cardriges off E-bay for 50% off. I buy all my ink that way, even for my canon pro photo printer. I've never trusted the refill services are frys, costco, or anyone else.

_{I've been using a Brother inkjet MFC for years and have had no problems. Some months I do no printing and other months 2500 pages of mixed colour and black with no issues. The best is the cartridges I can pickup for $6 a pice for generic ones and OEM for $15/colour and $20/black. Its wireless, wired and USB and the scanner does a fantastic job once you get the settings right. Never a problem sendoing or receiving faxes either. Cheapest printer i've owner and the best quality print for the money if you want inkjet.}

Refilled cartridges are junk, they always cause problems in the long run. As others have suggested, if you do a lot of printing, get a laser instead of an ink jet.
