Super 10?

Well I'm thinking about getting a new muffler.....Well I'm going too.

I got a Flowmaster 40 series right now, with it being dumped right before the rear axle.

I might go with the Super 10 or Super 44 (FlowMaster). I just want something more aggressive & a little louder, the drone doesn't affect me. What do yall think?

I was thinking about getting the Magnaflow off road series pro turn downs, might don't know if its good enough. Loud wise.

A dumped 40 isn't loud enough? Wow, try the cherry bomb extreme.

Maybe its where I just got use to having it. Been on there for 3 years lol.

Im not looking for it to be that loud lol,,,,just something a little bit louder

I had a 10 series on my '07 GMT 900, like having duals without a muffler loud wise and it just sounds like a louder 40 series. I had it single in and dual out. If you like real loud pipes then go for it, drone was bad though.

My buddys blazer had super 10s on it..I hated them...they Rasped like straight pipes...which is ok if you like that sound...but IMO the sound of straight pipes reminds me of a 16year old kid cutting the mufflers off his truck..regardless of what it sounded like...as long as it was loud

See this why I don't want it, I hate the sound of straight pipes.

I was thinkin of a Borla Sport muffle, but have no idea which one to get.

Well my tens sounded like my uncles fully restored 68 Camaro, mean and clean. I took the time to research and see what the best piping and tip setup would be for the best sound. It didn't crackle, it didn't pop, it didn't sound like a 16 year old kid who cut his cats and muffler out to make it sound like a derby car.

I like loud pipes but, if you aren't looking and hear me drive by I don't want you to think I'm driving a ratted out POS. Super 10's are race inspired, meant to be loud and flow. If it isn't for you then cool, I liked it and I recieved compliments about how it sounded all the time.

I recently put a Super 44 on my truck, just the muffler keeping the stock tailpipes, and I love it so far. It's got that deep rumble but sounds clean. The only drone I hear in the cab is when I'm at about 1700 rpm, when it's the loudest. It's pretty quiet cruising down the highway around town.

i had a 40 on my 2001 silverado dumped before the axle.. it fell off and sounded exactly the same with out a muffler.. i didnt think there was anything louder then a 40

My muffler is gone, dumped, and my cats are still on, doesn't sound like a 16 yo truck lol; I don't know how many complements I receive about how awesome it sounds and what muffler I use, surprises them when I say none. But that will all change when my headers get in. Go cherry bomb extremes if you want loud.

I love how everyone one here likes to hate on people who don't have mufflers and act like there better or more sophisticated because they have a flow master or something like that. I personally love the way my 01 sounds true dualed w no mufflers, and I know a whole lot of other people who do to. It sounds the way a truck should sound

+1. I've got true dual straights dumped over the rear axle with with 3" x 18" tips. I love it and get plenty of compliments on it
