looking at a new truck

hey guys, im looking at getting a nnbs truck, i was looking at a 2009 crew z71, what are some of the things i need to look for in these new trucks. im getting z71, 5.3 with the on the fly 4x4 switch.

 

i now have a 2006 silverado ext cab 4x4 with a 4.8

does it have the 6 speed trans? 5.3 is even better with the 6 speed.

The rear back-up cameras will spoil you, 2009 was the 1st year for this option.

 

Also, I hated the cloth in my 2009 Sierra SLE. I bought my 2012 GMC Sierra SLE with leather buckets this time around. This is another option you can find on the Chevy Silverado LT or the GMC Sierra SLE that a lot of people don't know about. You can get leather seat covers on the 40/20/40 or bucket seats in the lower level trim option GM trucks.

 

Leather interior will better your trucks value "down the road".

 

Leather will clean easily & not trap lint from other planets (like GM's 2007-2013 premium cloth does).
