Power Mileage upgrade?

I have a 2007 NBS Silverado extra cab with a 4.3. Not sure of the rear ratio but I do 80mph at approx. 2100 RPM. I want to know if doing the CAI and Dynomax Catback, is worth it? Or should I just put a K&N filter in and a Thrush muffler? Thanks!!

All of those are not going to do anything really . Just a waste of money .

I was under the impression more air into the motor and more air out better performance and fuel economy.?

Yes it may get you slightly better fuel economy. But don't expect a difference, you may or may not see one. If you're going to do it, do it for fun.

I hear ya Kstruckcountry! And the exhaust is that of the V8's I figure Morgan. I'm just gonna throw a thrush muffler on it and call it a day. Thanks for the responses!

You should get yourself a BlackBear tune to squeeze out some extra performance if that's in your budget.

Considering that the K&N air filter can be cleaned, you will save money on filters and get better mileage. A different muffler on the other hand can easily improve performance, but you may not see the mileage get any better especially if you do both at the same time.
