Just changed tranny fluid/solenoids

I just finished doing my every 25k tranny fluid replacement. Also, since I was in there and I have 180k on it, I decided to change the A and B shift solenoids out. That was easy as hell. I'll say one thing though, I have yet to change the tranny fluid on this truck and not have to take a bath in Dexron.

Question: Before I changed the fluid, and also sometimes afterwards, the truck has a little bump when starting from a traffic light (every 5 start or so). Like there is a split second of slippage before it hits first gear from a stop. What does this indicate?

 

After changing out the solenoids the 1-2-3-4 shifts seem to be doing great. But it didn't solve this issue.

 

for 180k I'm not complaining.

I would think it normal cause of the torque management that's in full effect on your truck.
