I'm thinking about getting a bersa .380

Does anyone have one?

Do you like it?

Pros cons?

It wouldn't really be for self protection but just to have and shoot for fun.

My wife has one. Good little gun

Those little guns even in smaller calibers aren't exactly fun to shoot. Too small for a good grip, triggers on almost all those pocket guns are mediocre at best and they rarely have good sights from the factory.

I don't know that I would call it a pocket gun. Probably about the same size as a Walther. My buddy has one and says its actually pretty decent to shoot.

I did have a TCP in a 380 that was a pocket gun for a little while and was really difficult to shoot being so small. Ended up getting rid of it.

I myself went with a Ruger SR9C. Trigger is nice and crisp which I like. Some like longer pulls though. Comes with a full size 17 round mag and a 10 round. It is a little heavy though and is a 9. Ammo for it right now is hard to come by.

Go to a store and play with them, I never had someone tell me no I couldn't hold one from a store.

Why a .380 caliber? If you are looking for something to have fun and shoot with, a 9mm would be the way to go IMO. The .380 ammo is to expensive to shoot all the time, when you can find it.

.380 and 45acp are the only things on the shelves where i live.

I have a 9mm I love it and I can get a pretty good deal on a new bersa thunder 380 right now

If it's a good deal go for it. You can never have enough, or to many guns.

But what's the price? They are the two most expensive popular pistol caliber in the country. .357sig is getting up there also but it's wirth it for that round.

That's pretty good, they go somewhere between $315-$400 around here depending on model.

I personally don't have much experience with one. But I have a buddy who had one and had nothing but problems. It's my understanding that Bersas are pretty finnicky with ammo. IMO money would be better spend towards an S&W shield if you want compact. Plus it's in 9mm instead of underpowered .380.

250 packs in January of the umc bulk were still under 100.

Anything else I dont pay attention to the price, I only shoot 40S&W and 9MM

My wife has a Bersa .380 Thunder. It is a very solid gun and deadly accurate. I enjoy shooting it, however my pinky and ring finger do not fit on the grips. If the ammo was easier to come by around here it would get used alot more.
