I have a set of good year wrangler authority tires. I got them as a gift from my dad I love the tires they have good traction and look really good. However I have noticed that the lugs are starting to separate from the tire on the outside edge on two of the tires. Also on the sidewall there looks like little splits in the sidewall. I have put less than 10,000 miles on them and only 2 of them are doing this so a they defective? I have always kept the right tire pressures and rotated, had my truck in allignment what do you guys think?

All they said is that is a "co-brand" and that I am going to have to see if Walmart will do anything for me

That sucks, my dad bought a truck with these on, they were brand new, and he now has almost 30,000 miles, no issues and lots of tread left. he also never rotates them and I doubt hes ever put a pressure guage on em.

im surprised how well they are holding up. I just put a set of duratracs on my 2011 1500 and love them. they were pricey, but I've had duratracs before and was impressed with performance and longevity. put more pressure on the dealer and walmart. don't stop til your satisfied. these big box companies make lots of money, they can afford to set a minor issue like this right. When I purchased my tires, I had the option to buy similar tread goodyears from a Canadian tire, for over 200$ LESS, but chose not to because I like the service I get with the tire place I chose.
