Silverado VSS signal?

Does anyone know of an easy in cab location to pick up the speed signal for a late model?

There is a signal on circuit 817, however, you may not be able to use it because of the type of signal it is (a pulsing ground). If you tell me what you are planning to use it for, I may be able tell you if it will be useful...... or I may not be able to.............

Isn't it the green/white wire going to the radio (for the auto volume control)?
