Well everyone. I said I would look into having a nation GM-TC party this summer, and well, I’m doing it!

Right now, the ideas are...

July 24th, 25th, and 26th(or Jul 31st- Aug 2nd) of 2003 (Thur-Sat)

Would take place at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY. (Great place to have fun at!!)

What would be do?-

Go-kart racing, tour of the Corvette plant, scenic road tours, drag racing, group dinner, tours of the museum, time to hang out and talk, and hopefully GM concept vehicles to look at. (Yes, I think we can get those!)

The only stipulation is we need around 50 or more people to come. This is because the museum has already closed its sponsorship dates up, so we have to fund this ourselves. And renting the museum isn't cheap.  :chevy:

So, please. If your reading this, and would like to come, or would like to add some input in this, please post. Otherwise, if you don't post, it won't happen.

Here are some pictures from a Camaro/Firebird event i went to in September!

Of course you want to go!

My guess would be anywhere from $50-$75 for the event registration, and then you would have to get a hotel room($60/night at most).

The registration fee would cover unlimited entrance into the museum, the road tours, the catered dinner, the "movie afternoon" or whatever we do in the chevrolet theater plus other cool stuff.   :chevy:

One more thing;

If I could somehow work it in conjunction with my trip to Maine, there would have to be something for the wife to do.

Anyone else thinking about bringing their significant other(s)?

Depending on my daughters operation this summer and where the Air Force has me, I would like to make it. I think it is a 14hr drive from here, not sure, will look it up on mapquest.

$50-75 isnt bad at all.  Is that per person?  It would be me and my gf (unless she is in summer school)

If you can confirm a date, I'll go...  My 15 years of service with GE has honered me with the the beloved 4th week of paid vacation!!!!  The wife doesn't have near the vacation as I do, so I can scoot out of PA to Kentucky for a few days...

Who needs a lift????

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
