Upgrade to dual rear piston, and 05+ fronts?

I buy a lot from them so I have room to negotiate a little bit. Works better when I buy multiple items They will tell me like 225 and I can tell them I will do 180 cash to get both

I will check out a couple places around here, but will definitely buy new pressure and return hoses. That is if my brakes already aren't awesome enough with these new pads, rotors, calipers, and braided hoses

It will be an improvement. Hoses I would get new but I am talking about pump and booster used

I was reading on another forum that if you don't want to buy another pump you can get a t-fitting into the return line. He said he hasn't had problems with it yet

Now that I think about it, this P/S pump has as many miles as my truck. Probably worth doing the pump swap

What is the difference between my current PS pump and one for hydroboost? Is it a little bigger, and possibly a second return line?

 

And is it more heavy duty, because that would be nice for big tires...

It is made to have the extra line for the brake booster. I believe it is a second pressure line

Alright. Im just going to buy everything new. With the engine not running, do the brakes still work, because the PS pump isn't pumping anything. I figured it would still work because there should be fluid sitting in the brake booster, but not sure if the pump has to run in order to make the brakes work?

Same as your vacuum brakes, you will have brakes til you run out of pressure

I know its a lot of questions, but I know you mentioned to look for parts off of a 2500HD. What year(s) should I look for, I'm guessing 99-06?

 

And then what motor should I look for the parts? 6.0L, 8.1L, or 6.6L Dmax?
