they came out to 645ish. but, I went onto the ACDelco website and found something out. Those rear calipers you listed are for an 05+ Silverado, not an SUV. The SUV rear caliper part numbers are as follows:

RR: 172-2394

LR: 172- 2393

Keep in mind these are the ACDelco numbers. Actually makes finding them a lot easier online. But not sure if there is a difference between the SUV two piston rears or the 05+ rear disc two piston calipers

I listed 03-05 silverado ss rear caliper part numbers. they had rear 2 piston

Oh ok I figured out what I did wrong. I clicked on 06 Suburban on ACDelco and it came up with a different part number, but 00-05 is the same part number that you listed for the rear. I'm kind of confused, because I thought 00-06 Burbs and Tahoes were built the same

The only change I know if in 06 for the burb I know of is the LTZ which was basically a Denali with Z71 body features and Silverado SS wheels

Alright the difference between 172-1611 and 172-2393 (which in gm part # is 18043520) is one is set up for active brake (172-2393, RPO code JL4) which I guess, as you said it, is probably part of the LTZ trim package, but not sure what it does

EDIT: It is for stabilitrak. Not sure how the caliper is set up differently (looks the same in the pics) from 05 to 06, but it is. So if your looking at doing this (for those of you reading this) look into 00-05 Burb rear calipers

If I went with NAPA semi loaded calipers (w/ brackets), EBC Sport Rotors (all the way around), and EBC Green Stuff Pads (all the way around) the total would come out to $853.69 after taxes and cores returned ($969.78 before core returns, but with tax)

If I went with all genuine ACDelco calipers (like Chris is going to do), and then the EBC rotors, green stuff pads, and cardone brackets, the total would come out to $1210.31 with no sales tax (all online ordering)

Not sure if I should just fork out the extra $350 for brand new ACDelco calipers or just stick with the NAPA remans. If NAPA doesn't accept my calipers as cores then the difference would be $240. Any advice y'all?

Oh, and happy birthday Chris!

I may go with remans, because my front rotors will be $645 alone

Yeah, I looked them up and figured you might as well upgrade to a Wilwood kit if your going to spend that much on just rotors. Actually, the Wilwood kits are not that bad compared to Brembo and the other B companies. Only 2k an axle, compared to 4k

I will be going to a Wilwood or Baer 6S but that is later on

I think brakes and possible regear is it for this truck. My next truck is going to be a diesel, preferably an LBZ Duramax. I know it aint much newer than my truck, but those are some of the best Duramax's they have made, so I have heard

My factory bracket bolts should be fine, correct? I don't need to get longer ones?

Also, if I did go new ACDelco, could I reuse my caliper bolts, or would I need to buy new ones?

We had EBCs on the TBSS and SSBC big bites on the SSS, both great rotors, no issues. Sent from a jelly bean.

Hey Jenna, the EBC rotors didn't tear your pads up, did they? I was reading around on a couple other sites and people were saying the rotors with the dimples (the sport rotor) messed up their pads pretty bad when they did a couple of hard stops, like the dimples cut into the pad?

Doesn't seem right to me, but who knows, there is a lot of pressure on those pads
