Any problems running True Dual's on NNBS?

Looking to run true dual's on my NNBS (2011), with dynomax bullets. Not touching the cats, but is it okay to cut off the "resonator" or should I just leave it alone? Thanks for any help.

Had true duals with 18 inch glasspacks on my 04. Loved it. Just making sure there were no issues on the nnbs

My local exhaust shop and Flowmaster both advised against it. They told me that there wasn't any significant advantage (HP or sound) of true dual exhaust like there used to be. I trusted them and put a 50 series Flowmaster Big Block on my 09 with a 6.0. Happy with it so far.

No problems...... truck will run fine and you can make it as loud or as quiet as you want.

The sound advantage of true duals is kinda simple....... single only goes out one side and you can put duals out both, lol.

Most exhaust shops advise against it because they are too lazy to actually make the pipes to fit..... that's about the only reason I ever see. Or even better they start going on about backpressure stupidity..... to which I say, "I didn't my trucks engine was a steam generator"....... that usually gets some puzzled responses, lol.

Putting duals on your 2011 is really no different than what you did on your 2004 so just go get it done, lol.

I myself am far too cheap for this however..... stock 3.5" Duramax exhausts with no miles can be had for free or up to about $50 so I never need to do anything custom, lol.

Only trip a cel if you are losing the cats. Otherwise the pcm couldn't care less.
