Just got a new 2013 Silverado LT with factory 20"
wheels and tires Goodyear Eagle LS 27555R20 dealer had vehicle 5days out of my
first 10 owning the truck to try and solve an Vibration problem at 60 - 65 mph.
they replaced 3 tires 2 rear and one front, the problem is still there but not
as bad. Put some miles on the truck 1800 miles and returned it to have them
check it over again. Service Manager call me and told me the tires were in spec
and that the vibration he felt and what I was felling was the tire size and that
is as good as it will get. Is this a Problem with larger tires and rims?

hi

when there are vibrations problem happen,it has many reason.it happen due to large size alloy wheels & tires.it is also caused by bad rims and tires balancing. Wrong wheels to vehicle axles contribute most of the vibrations problem when you happen have Custom wheels . Sometimes, a set of hub centric rings will solve the problem right after you put them on. And they are very affordable. Make sure you to maintain your rims and tires balanced all the time to avoid vibration problem.

Thanks for the reply, Great Idea about the rim not centered on the hub. Will look into the rings, thanks
