One quick Tip of the day

Normally, when I get to work, I just take off my seat belt, put the windshield screen in the windshield and jump out of the truck.

Then when I get back in that afternoon, I found that when I removed the seat belt, the belt retracted and the chrome metal part of the buckle has been facing outward.

So now the sun has hit it and heated it to a nice 150 degrees. Ouch!

So when I get out now, I check the seat belt and make sure the metal part is facing the seat so it doesn't burn me any more.

Been there, done that.

A simple tip of the day. :driving:

Being that it is always hot here, hot enough to safely cook an egg on my dash, I'm used to the burn.

This. In OK we have full blown furnace Summers and cold winters. If we are lucky few get a few weeks of spring and fall. Usually in the middle of winter.

Here we have 9 months of summer and 1 month each for the rest
