Hey y'all, I know 285/65/18 will work with the rough country 2.5" kit but does anyone know it they clear the factory mud flaps? And what about mpg affects?

I put a 2" leveling kit on mine and 285/65/18 tires. I have no rubbing either direction I don't have any flaps but I figure u will be fine. I put trail grapplers on mine and mpg's are about 18 on the hwy and 14 or so in the city now. Keep in mind I have a heavy foot.

hey question for you guys. I have a stock 2000 chevy 1500 4wd 5.3. I want to run about the same lift kit its a rough country 1.5-2 inch with shocks. It says the max tires I can run are 285s. Im running those now stock, will this kit actually let me run taller tires or is it just a waist of money. I guess my truck sits taller then other because all the post I see many say 285 is as big as they can go with leveling kit and trimming the plastic.
